Outlier (from the makers of MasterClass) has developed high-quality, online courses for college credit. Their courses a beautiful designed and delivered with cinema quality video. They're easily the most captivating and immersive online courses available!
They currently only have 6 courses. Each course costs $400. Unique to Outlier is the fact that you are entitled to a full refund on a course if you complete all the work and don't pass. They also offer a 10% discount on tuition at checkout if you purchase more than one course.
Transferability
Outlier have partnered with the University of Pittsburgh to make their courses regionally accredited. This means that their courses are very likely to be accepted at every university in the country that accepts transfer credit.
You should still check with your academic advisor or registrars office to confirm that credit earned through Outlier will be accepted.

Suitability for Travel
Classes through Outlier are asynchronous, but they are not entirely self-paced. You have the option to choose between a 14 week or 7 week course schedule, and the courses have fixed start dates, although those dates a very regular.
If you're planning to take these courses while traveling, we recommend signing up for the 14 week schedule.
